Au premier coup d'oeil, j'apprécie déjà la prédominance du rouge et du noir. Ensuite, j'aime les lignes. Et, pour une fois, je ne cherche aucune interprétation !

J'adore, un noir et blanc en couleurs, et la délicate bordure de la manche en dentelle ... et Neil Young ...

Une toile, j'aime. La tonalité: lumière grise le rouge & noir, le quadrillage et l'ombre qui prête à interprétation. The Loner des paroles appropriées dont je ne discuterai pas le choix (je vais vouloir écouter du N.Young toute la journée ;-). Par contre je n'ai pas compris le titre et n'avais pas remarqué la clope.

j'aime le quadrillage des ombres et ces touches de rouge ! l'ambiance est très mystérieuse avec la silhouette de la femme et un peu polar, j'aime !

This is so enigmatic, but essentially it's the combination of red, black, and grey which draws me to it (and Neil Young, of course).

Une belle composition mystérieuse.)

L'effet artistique est étonnant, comme un théâtre d'ombres, non sans rappeler ces fameuses ombres chinoises. Et une complexité subtile dans le positionnement du corps, entre mouvement et immobilisme .
Cette silhouette est une ombre-mystère, à la fois délicate et provoquante, armée de sa cigarette, en un geste impeccable, et protégée par son nuage menaçant de fumée.
La vision est obscure et ténébreuse mais s'ouvre à la culture des Contes en Ombres, ces Contes Persans ou de ces Mille et Une Nuits, énigmatiques. Comme le titre, ici...Ou alors, de La Belle Au Bois, accompagnée de la musique de "The Loner, synchrone, un bercement dans l' attente solitaire d'un isolement magique .

Very effective and immediately intriguing. I love the strong silhouette that is still delicate with the lace sleeve, these graphic elements of shadow and cool red rectangles, the action of the flicked cigarette, and you ice the cake with Neil Young. (I was lucky to see such an amazing show with he and Crazy Horse at Maple Leaf Gardens when I was young, and he played most of his older hits, really rocked) Very cool visual work, Basile.

The lace (and the cigarette as you point out above to a commenter) is but a small component, but it packs a lot of artistic weight in the compo. Have a good rest-of-your-Thursday : I am off to my work now.

Photo superbe dans sa réalisation, par contre je ne vois pas ce que représente le truc en haut dans l'angle droit de l'image.

Finalement c'est le mégot qui me fait aimer la photo: belle composiiton .

Silhouette gracieuse, fragile, opaque. Mais en se superposant à l'ombre des fenêtres, elle en acquiert la transparence. Belle idée que celle des trois traits rouges qui rythment la composition !

Not the reason but I thought of a black wooden image so common in the Black Madonnas of Romanesque ... I thought I should tell you ... precedence was actually the idea when I saw the hand gesture ... Christian greetings!
